How long have you been in business?
We have been selling and installing Granite for Over 5 years to the public. We choose to stay a family run business that stands behind everything we do.
What is your primary product or service?
Granite Sales and Installation. We have a large selection of 3cm Granite slabs as well as remnants for people to choose from. Once our customer selects their piece of granite we provide them with a free estimate for the granite that includes installation. We also sell discounted sinks and faucets as well. We then go to our customers home, make a template for an exact fit, our guys then cut and install the same week. We require a deposit before we will cut but do not request the balance until our customer is completely happy with their granite and install.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Remodeling rental properties owned. Wanted to provide a product and service that people would actually be thrilled and satisfied with.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We work on a low profit margin so we can keep prices really affordable. On average our quotes save customers anywhere from 25 percent and more, off the quotes they receive from the large companies.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We only have one located in Cumming. We do not want to expand. By having only one location, we can personally make sure each customer is satisfied. Our customers are very good at referring The Granite House to their neighbors and friends.

Please call before coming to view granite. We are sometimes out providing granite estimates. The Granite House is near exit 12 and McFarland. If you are coming N from Alpharetta, take exit 12 off 400 East. You will make a Left turn on Shiloh, (about 4 streets down from 400). Stay on Shiloh for 1 mile, make Left turn onto Stoney Point and we are the second building on the Left. You will see Granite, Fork Lifts and more.
What type of payments do you accept?
Cash, Check, Pay Pal.
Which areas do you service?
All Areas in and around Atlanta. We have also handled many specialty jobs in South Georgia, Alabama and TN.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
Mark and Julia. Family run and owned. We both show granite, Mark works up most of the quotes, especially for contractors, templates the jobs or has Carlos, our top installer template the jobs. Handles quality control for each job. I do a bit of everything. I show granite, handle office work, Assist customers with design, color matching granite to cabinets, floor, helping the customer decide what type of back splash to use, faucets and fixtures to match.
